I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Batit during my recent travels, and it felt like a home away from home in the heart of Bizkarreta, Navarra. The rustic charm of the wooden beam ceilings paired with a cozy shared garden made our evenings relaxing, especially when we fired up the BBQ. The host, although primarily Spanish-speaking, was charming-she went out of her way to ensure we felt welcome and cozy in this slice of paradise. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare our meals after a day exploring the stunning mountain views and hiking trails nearby. Plus, having a dining table for six made it a perfect place for connecting with fellow travelers; we shared stories over dinner, just like I do back in Kenya. For anyone looking for an authentic, friendly stay along the Camino, I highly recommend Casa Batit!
